The best time to "post" on LinkedIn, including "invitations" or "job applications"

These are my most important findings:

·       BEST TIME: Wednesdays between 10:00 and 14:00.

·       OTHER RECOMMENDED PERIOD: Tuesday to Friday morning.

·       UNPOPULAR/USELESS: Official Holidays like Xmas and Easter etc., and the weekend in general (this includes Friday afternoon for many) and every working weekday from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.

Members use LinkedIn for professional, job-related purposes. This means that the focus is clearly on the widespread 8-to-5 working week.

Specialists and managers are busy people with little time. Mondays are often used to catch up on tasks left unfinished last week and to participate in various meetings where the next steps are discussed. Once the planning is complete and the most important tasks for this week are completed, LinkedIn members have a clear head to actively take care of their network.

Some also incorporate LinkedIn into their morning routine. They read their newsfeed like a daily newspaper to be informed about the latest events. Others devote themselves directly to their personal messages and the reactions to their posts to keep contacts fresh and conversations do not fade away. What you can't do in the morning can be made up for in a quiet moment, for example at lunchtime or in the early evening just before closing time.

After this and at the weekend, working people understandably want to enjoy their free time and pursue their favorite activities for relaxation. They need distance from work, which is why you can NOT find them online at this time.

Invitations or applications should also ONLY be sent during normal business hours, NEVER late in the evening or even on weekends!

And one more request: please no novel-length AI posts! Violent videos! Total nonsense!

Last but not least: I emphasize over and over again that LinkedIn should NOT be misused for dating, chats, religious and political hate speech, and certainly not scams! Therefore, NEVER disclose important personal data such as bank accounts, WhatsApp numbers, etc. to strangers!

Another NO-GO is NOT to show a photo of yourself on your profile or even to register under a false identity!
